This saw sarted out very rusty, stained and beat up. I removed the rust, cleaned the brass and refinished the handle. The wood finish starts out with multiple coats of our organic wood oil and then a few coats of our organic wood salve are added. This finish is ideal as it is a repairable finish which is perfect for a hard working tool. The blade and brass are protected by our organic tool oil.
